• Client Brief
  • To develop full scale 3D model of FDPSO from General Arrangements and Module AutoCAD drawings for client interface meetings.
  • Identify and mark clearly all emergency escape routes and highlight structural conflicts and collisions on the model.
  • Upon final GA develop animated walk through for escape planning and equipment movement.
• Deliverables
  • Completed 3D model with all topside modules in place and visuals of escape routes
  • Presentation of model at interface meeting for discussions

• Flash Engineering has developed the model as per all GA's with corrections and changes in topside layouts. The model was used in client interface meetings to identify problems and changes needed. The model gave a clear 3 dimensional representation of the finish vessel prior to the first module being installed, thereby enabling our customer to confirm all layouts prior to the start of the project build. This reduced the number of amendments needed during construction phase and gave a clear visual over the 2D presentations normally used.
